Earth Day
Last weekend (4.20.08), Chi Chi Amor participated in the
Sierra Club’s Earth Day event at
Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL. We received a lot of attention for our recycled pants, made from the traditional Mayan skirt (corte) and our booties, recycled from the traditional Mayan shirt (huipil). We were happy to see so many like-minded parents at Earth Day and hope Tampa will have a higher turn-out every year. As part of the event, Chi Chi Amor donated $50 to the Sierra Club. We look forward to next year.
